A strong process

I believe that exceptional design starts with a deep understanding of your brand’s story, goals, and audience. Unlike one-size-fits-all solutions, my process is intentionally collaborative, designed to align your vision with strategic, creative design. From your initial consultation to final handover, you’ll experience a transparent, step-by-step approach that ensures clarity, creativity, and consistency at every stage.

Getting Started

We'll have a free, no-pressure call about your brand and what you want to achieve through the project. We'll discuss the scope of the work, timelines, and budget. Then, if we think we'd work well together, I'll send over a proposal. Once this has been signed and a deposit paid, your project is booked and we can begin!

Strong Foundations

Your brand design won't just look amazing, it will be grounded in strategy. This stage in the process will help us to define that strategy and agree on what success looks like both strategically and creatively. Depending on your project type this will either be in the form of a brand questionnaire or a brand strategy call.

Design Time!

Now that your strategic foundations are clearly defined I will start coming up with ideas for your brand. This looks like lots and lots of sketching, word mapping and other creative brainstorming techniques, resulting in a collection of possible directions. We'll narrow this down to 2 ideas that best align with your strategy.

Feedback

You'll receive a presentation showcasing the chosen logos and brand identity ideas along with relevant mock-ups of your branding in real-world situations and a walk-through video explaining my design choices. Once you've had a chance to let everything sink in I'll ask for feedback and make any requested changes to your preferred concept. For Brand Identity PLUS packages I'll

Brand System*

If you've purchased the Brand Identity PLUS package your presentation will also include a brand system example for each concept. These 'moodboards' combine secondary brand elements to show how your brand works together as a whole and how it could look across many applications. Your chosen system will be detailed in comprehensive brand guidelines which explain brand usage and help keep everything consistent.

Handover & Support

Once the final invoice has been paid, all your completed brand assets will be provided in well-organised folders. I'll use best-practice files types ready for any possible future use. I enjoy continuing to work with people once their brand has been launched. If you have ongoing creative needs we can discuss further design support.

Do you offer add-ons separately to brand identity projects?

I value good relationships with my clients, so I prefer to prioritise add-on requests from clients who have already been through a brand identity project with me. However, if I have time, I do sometimes work on just add-ons for new clients - pop me a message to see what my current schedule is like.

How soon can you start my project?

Usually I can start a project within 2 weeks of our initial call. Before agreeing to anything you'll receive a detailed proposal outlining the timeline, cost and deliverables.

Can you design my website too?

I specialise in brand identity design and graphic design. I don't currently offer website design however your brand guidelines (Brand Identity PLUS) will include direction on how your brand elements could best be utilised on your website. I can also refer you to trustworthy website designers.

I already have a logo idea, I just need you to make it for me.

My goal is to make sure you get real value from the work I do. Just digitising your existing logo idea would be doing you a huge disservice. My process is collaborative and I will listen carefully to any ideas you have - they may well be viable. I work best with clients who trust me to bring the expertise they need and appreciate the guidance I offer.
